The climb
Masonite’s ethos for the new corporate headquarters was inspired by Sir Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay summit of Mt. Everest. To visually represent this idea we created hundreds of large scale painted forms based on the fractal shapes of cracked stone and ice. Each composition moves through the space organically to reflect the natural environment.
The elements
Earth’s beauty is built with four tools: wind, water, temperature and time. Only by limiting our process to these four forces were we able to reveal the patterns that mother nature so effortlessly creates.
